Michael Filiou Chartered Certified Accountants are delighted to announce the arrival of Leon Loizou, who joins our loyal and professional tax and accounts team as a Senior Client Manager.
Leon, who brings over 20 years of tax and accounting experience to the practice, works closely with our founder, Michael Filiou, and the team to deliver a first-class service to our clients.
Specifically, his role will involve managing a portfolio of the practice’s clients, including preparing accounts and tax returns for all business structures, from sole traders to limited companies. He will also advise company directors on their personal tax affairs and proactively advise clients on key business and tax planning decisions they should consider to achieve their goals. Leon also has a practical working knowledge of different accounting software packages, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and Iris.
Before joining the practice, Leon amassed extensive experience working with various accountancy firms. He has worked with many clients covering sectors from acting to construction and property investment to professional services firms. He is a fully qualified accountant and a full member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
